A rope bed

I don’t know who said that but I like it.




  1. I have seen finials like that before. Are they indicative of the region/time period?

    These finials were popular in the early nineteenth century, this bed is from the northern mid west about 1840.

    Thanks, no wonder I liked the quote, I do like Poe.
